Sup e'ryone this be Miguel updating the site fo PBL. Just wanted to remind everyone that with CGS comming up in February we have about two months to compile all the videos that we're going to need for the awards show in addition to everything else that needs to be done for that weekend. Also everyone be sure to fill out a volunteer form for that weekend and take those days off from work.

WCC-Phi Beta Lambda took home top honors this past weekend at the 57th Annual State Leadership Conference. Our members competed against delegates from 38 North Carolina Universities and Colleges.

2010 National Leadership Conference Results

Members of Wayne Community College’s chapter of the Phi Beta Lambda business education student organization placed in five competitive events at its 2010 National Leadership Conference in Nashville, TN. Twelve students plus two advisors attended the conference and competed against delegates from Colleges and Universities all across the country.

WCC-Phi Beta Lambda celebrated our 30th anniversary year with an amazing performance at the 56th Annual State Leadership Conference.
Seventeen students, our largest delegation to date, competed against delegates from 41 North Carolina Universities and Colleges and 100% our students brought home top places in at least one competition:

WCC-Phi Beta Lambda members safely returned Sunday night from the National Fall Leadership Conference in Baltimore, MD. The conference hosted thousands of students from across the country offering sessions on resume building, accounting, the stock market, communication, negotiation, leadership as well as nationally recognized motivational speakers. We also took in the sights such as Federal Hill Park, Fort McHenry, and various other Inner Harbor attractions.
This was the first time our chapter attended this conference as a group in order to prepare students for future conferences such as the April State Leadership Conference in Charlotte and...
