2010 State Leadership Conference Results

WCC-Phi Beta Lambda celebrated our 30th anniversary year with an amazing performance at the 56th Annual State Leadership Conference.
Seventeen students, our largest delegation to date, competed against delegates from 41 North Carolina Universities and Colleges and 100% our students brought home top places in at least one competition:
WCC Attends National Fall Leadership Conference

WCC-Phi Beta Lambda members safely returned Sunday night from the National Fall Leadership Conference in Baltimore, MD. The conference hosted thousands of students from across the country offering sessions on resume building, accounting, the stock market, communication, negotiation, leadership as well as nationally recognized motivational speakers. We also took in the sights such as Federal Hill Park, Fort McHenry, and various other Inner Harbor attractions.
This was the first time our chapter attended this conference as a group in order to prepare students for future conferences such as the April State Leadership Conference in Charlotte and...

2009 National Leadership Conference

WCC-Phi Beta Lambda took home top honors this summer at the 2009 National Leadership Conference. Our members competed against delegates from Colleges and Universities all across the country.
Six student delegates plus one advisor attended the conference in Anaheim on June 19th - June 24th.
Jason Brogden and Jim McCullough received 5th place in the Digital Video Production for their work creating a recruiting video for business instructors.

WCC-Phi Beta Lambda took home top honors at the 55th Annual State Leadership Conference in Charlotte, NC. Our members competed against delegates from 38 North Carolina Universities and Colleges.
Andrew Smith received 1st place in Accounting Principles and 2nd place in Economic Analysis and Decision Making.
